Grand Gathering Breakfast at Tony's

We are heading to WDW in September and another family is joining us for the last half of our trip. We have booked the grand gathering breakfast at Tony's. Has anyone taken part in this before? If so, do you recommend it?
Also, are there any other neat things to do as a grand gathering? I will take any and all suggestions.

We loved the Tony's Breakfast Grand Gathering. The food IMO was very good and I like the meals that are served family style over buffets because with our group it is just easier. The character interaction was great, when we were there Daisy, Minnie, Pluto, and I can not remember who else came to the table for hugs, autographs and pictures. Then the music started playing and they took the kids out for dancing and just fun stuff. We each received a Pin that thrilled my 9 year old grandson as he had just started trading pins on that trip. At the end we had pictures with Mickey Mouse, unrushed, he took pictures with each individual family and the entire group. Think we got fast passes to Mickey Philharmonic by showing them our pin but we had already seen it so did not go.

I would recommend it but the down side is we did not get out until almost 10:30 so Fantasyland was busy by the time we got to it. Still I would do it again. Oh, by the way on that trip we were a group of 17.

We did the breakfast at Tony's 2 years ago and it was fabulous!

Lots of character interaction - not rushed at all.

The food was much better than we expected since we felt it would be mass produced to get everyone fed around the same time. The food was fresh and tasty!

We did get pins also and Tony did a little dance with my mom! Mickey makes the grand finale and every table gets guided over so everyone has time for pics.

You would really enjoy it IMO.
