We are part of a GG, for our December trip. There is a total of 14 people, between our two familes. Should we book through Group Dining, or each book our own ressies, online, and then have them linked? (Can we even do that?) I know that when booking online, you can't book for more than 10. Are there any places that can't accomodate such a large group? Help is appreciated.

Thanks!:goodvibes

I called and talked to a GG person today. I had these same concerns. I am going to try to do them all separately and then just ask to be seated as close together when we get there.

My main problem was that they said if you have a party of 17 they would have seating for 17, but it would be divided up as the restaurant wanted and you wouldn't know until you arrived. This poses a problem for us since 3 couple are traveling with 3 kids. I just don't want to take the chance the kids will all be stuck together especially since they are all under 7. Or me getting stuck at a table with all 9 of them. :)

Hope this helps some. Let me know if you have any questions I can help with. I am struggling with this for our December trip too.

Hmmm, that is what I was afraid of. I know that many places can seat 10, without issue, but once you get above that, it is more difficult. We have 10 children between our two familes, so I don't want the same thing happening to us. Maybe I should try and make each parties ADR's seperately. Although, is it more difficult to get two ADR's for (7), at the same time?
In all honesty, I don't think we would mind eating with our familes at night, we may just need a break from each other!
Any other tips, or advice you ahve found out? We have been going every year, for the past 4 years, but never with such a large party.
