The quickest way to the MK is the monorail. MK is the very next stop once you board the monorail. However, that leaves you with your car, doesn't it.

I don't know if the GF will care you self-park there all day or not. Or, you could pay to valet park and leave your care there all day but "ouch", right?

I guess you could just drive over and park at the TTC and hop on the monorail or boat at that point.

They absolutely will not allow it. None of the monorail resorts will entertain that nor should they. If you want to leave your car, you have to pay for valet. Otherwise the best bet is to park at the TTC and resort monorail over to GF.

Normally, I agree with what you're saying and would never do it myself, but I can think of several debate threads on this very topic where a good amount of people stated they had no issues self-parking at the Contemporary for a breakfast ADR and just walked over to the Magic Kingdom after that. Everyone told them how wrong it was, that it wasn't allowed, etc. but apparently it is permitted more often than one thinks. I don't think it's right at all, but if a CM allows it then what can you do.

Like everything with Disney I guess it’s down to consistency with enforcing policy. We all know how lacking that can be at times.

The ttc is free parking ?? If I am paying for parking at aoa how long is the drive to ttc and then ride to gf and contemporary?

I would uber/lyft to GF and then you can bus back to AoA from MK when you are done. If you must have your car then yes parking at TTC is the best honest option.

You can also pay to valet at GF for your breakfast then you are allowed to park at GF for a MK park day I believe(some one can back me up here, people are very touchy about this subject :) ).

Free for resort Guests. You said you were staying at AoA with your car. Just present your Magic Band at the toll booth.

AoA to TTC is about 15 minutes. Maybe 15 more to walk or ride tram, go thru bag check, and get to the Monorail platform.

Monorail from TTC to GF is probably about 10 minutes. About half of that is stopping at the Poly station. Trains run about every 10 minutes.

GF to CR is also about 10 minutes, but I thought you said you were going from GF to MK, which is less than 5.

Thanks we are also having a dinner at the contemporary on a different night just seeing if that’s our vest option

I would Uber/Lyft/Cab to GF, then monorail over to MK after.

If you REALLY want to take your car, and you want to leave it at GF, then I think in order to ensure you don't have issues I would valet it. It's my understanding that valet is for the whole day ( although if that is not correct - someone will jump in to correct it ).

Otherwise, you'd have to park at TTC and grab the resort monorail. Figure that into your timing as stopping at the Poly will add some time ( about 10 minutes ).
