Grand Floridian?

Hi

I am staying in a villa for the two weeks I am in florida, however, on the night of the wedding we are staying at the grand floridian. I was hoping that me and my bridesmaids could get ready at the room on the gf, and was wondering if anyone knew what time you could check in? My wedding is not until 5pm.

I was thinking of having the hair done at the villa at 9.30 til 12.30 and then on to the gf for make up and getting ready, then down to the wedding pavilion.

Also, can I walk from the gf to the wedding pavilion? and what time should I hope to get there?

E.T.A. Is their a dress code for men at the GF (at my wedding), my Dad doesn't want to wear a jacket and is worrying that he will have to?

GF check in is at 4:00pm, but sometimes you can get in earlier, though I wouldn't count on it. Also, there is no dress code at the Grand Floridian except in some of the restaurants. Hope that helps

I think you can get ready at the Disney Wedding Pavilion, but i've heard the area for the bride is quite small. Some other people have also hired rooms to get changed in with a small table of food. If you have quite a few bridesmaids and a larger bridal party this may be a option for you.

if you say that you are a wedding party they will usually accommodate you. Let them know it is your special day and you would like to check in earlier and the room may be available. Are you geting married a busy time of year? Call them and see if they can help. Disney may be able to sprinkle you some extra pixie dust.
