Grand Floridian. Where should I request a room?

We are staying at the GF for a week in October in a lagoon view. Where should I request a decent room? Anyone have any favourite areas? I know there is no guarantee but no harm in asking!

There is a GF thread that has loads of info. And resort maps too. They answer questions very promptly. Be sure you read page 1.

If you're going to be spending most of your time at the MK, you can't beat a room adjacent to the MK boat dock - near Narcoosee's. You can't get much closer/convenient to the MK than that! It's kind of a hike from the monorail, but I'd rather be close to the boat - it's not subject to breakdowns.
