We have never stay at the Grand Floridian, only WL and CR for deluxe. We have eaten here many times over the years. We willl be here November and have loved the gingerbread house in the past. What other tips and hints, or don’t misses for this resort?? TIA

They are remodeling Mizer’s Lounge. Not sure if it will be finished when you go, but if so I’d check it out. We also enjoy the afternoon tea at GF. It’s something different to do.

If you’re curious about the DVC rooms you could head over to the DVC building and ask to see one. They let us see a 2BR unit when we asked. It’s gorgeous!

The walkway from the GF to the Polynesian is a great stroll if the weather is nice, its mostly along the water (and typically resulted in a pit stop for dole whip before we walked back!). The Boca Chica building also has a little "backyard" area that's great for firework viewing too.

We will be there in November as well. Depending on if you have kids and the weather, we are hoping to let our 18 month old have fun with the splash pad.
I would also get a good picture in front of the giant Christmas tree in the lobby.
