Grand Floridian Villas 2021 Refurbishment

Hello everyone. I was just curious to see if anyone knew if the sofa beds at the Villas at the Grand Floridian were going to be replaced with Murphy beds in the 2021 refurbishment. We are planning on staying at a Studio in Fall 2022 and were hoping they might be replaced by then. Please and Thank You.

The 2021 scheduled refurb at VGF is a “minor refresh”. That usually involves a slap of paint and a replacement of soft goods. Don’t expect the sofa bed to be replaced with the wall bed mechanism.

And with the virus shutting things down, the entire schedule could slip a year or even more.
