Grand Floridian Theme Park View Rooms

Anyone know which buildings have the theme park view rooms? I'm wondering which one I could be assigned and which one has the best castle views.

From the resort map, looks like Conch Key, Sago Cay, and maybe Boca Chica. Best one to request? Conch Key looks like it would have the most direct view of the castle. Boca Chica looks oriented more toward the Contemporary resort, not the castle.

At the Polynesian Tahiti Building, we had a great view of the castle. Any comparison?

Just returned from the GF and made a point of checking out the views from the various lodges. (We were in the main building and I have posted pictures on the GF FAQ thread if interested.) FOr the best castle view, I suggest Sago or Conch. They have the most direct views. Though Conch does have two large trees that would affect about 16 rooms. Sago has no tree obstruction.

Check out http://allears.net this site will describe each building. I know when I was checking on the Poly, it even gave me rooms that you might not want. Very helpful info!!

I could be wrong, but I thought that castle view rooms at the Grand Floridian were now a booking category that you had to pay extra for.

There is a separate booking category for "theme park view" at GF. Hoping for feedback from someone who booked this category

The reservations CM said this could be any of the outer buildings (Sago Cay, Conch Key, Boca Chica, Big Pine Key). Seems that only Sago Cay or Conch Key would have a good view of the castle.

Some posts have said that views were of mostly space mountain. I don't want to pay the extra money to look at space mountain..... need to worry?

This is a TPV room we had in Boca Chica. I was zoomed in somewhat and had to look hard left for this view.

As I mentioned some of the rooms in Conch may have tree block issues. You can always request Sago or Conch and if you don't get a satisfactory room, just politely ask to be moved to a better view room. The GF CMs are very accommodating!
