Apparently the entire Big Pine building has been turned into studios, around 200 of them. Has anyone stayed there lately? Do they have walk in showers? I would really love to stay there!

Yes that is the case. The rooms are beautiful. We looked at them a couple of years ago. Probably a good idea to call member services with questions on the rooms. I seem to recall they had a shower and Bath, but I could be wrong.

These do not have the walk in shower. When the renovated, they kept pretty much the same footprint as before for the bathrooms.

BPK are tub shower combo. As far as noise not from next rooms but sometimes from above with certain shoes but this is true of all Disney resorts now…. The reason hotels used and many continue to use carpet. If you want a guaranteed shower book the poly rooms - not tower.

We’ve stayed at BPK a few times now (including an 8 night right now) and have never noticed any more noise from adjoining rooms than anywhere else. We love BPK (it’s just the two of us) and we never even turn on the tv so the layout is great for us, plus we prefer the location over the original villas. Happy to own there!

The bathrooms in the resort studios have a tub/shower combo with a toilet in the same space and a pocket door to separate it from the double vanity area. It's not a bad setup for a couple, but having stayed there with two toddlers, it didn't have the space that I'd prefer. I try to stay in the Poly studios due to the dual shower setup.

That said, the rooms are very nice and I like that they have a 5th sleeper in the sofa. I liked the location to the rest of the GF resort and the fact that the pool was right downstairs.
