Has anyone recently stayed in the SLC lately. I'm curious to know how the service is and has it improved, since I have heard that it hasn't been all that great lately. It has been a while since I stayed in the SL and hoping to know who had a good or bad stay.

Where did you read the bad reports? On the GF board, there have been several recent good reports. Janet2K even posted pictures of all the yummy food and cordials! SL is now full service and matches RPC exactly in food and beverage service (as of July 05). We are really looking forward to our December trip! So far, the IPO staff has been stellar!

I am anxiously awaiting my e-mail confirmation for my PS they hopefully made for me. I am 90 days out today. I will let you know if they are able to get all my ressies. They were very prompt in acknowledging my e-mail request.

I got all of mine including a Wishes Fireworks Cruise! All my ADR's were the EXACT time and date (no difference at all including CRT) that I requested. They've been AWESOME!

Triplefigs: I have seen reports before the SL turned over full concierge. I was hoping if any had been there during the new turnover. My family and I have stayed in SL around 6 times and twice in RPC. I personally have not had a bad experience, but I have read that somepeople have had snobbish interaction with the CMs. I do remember one time I had a similar interaction in SL with a CM, and he was not pleasant at all - he seems to no longer be around, thank goodness!

RPC was amazing in many aspects! The CMs were absolutely incredibly helpful in everyway. They really bent over backwards for us. One CM would even save chocolate covered strawberries for my daughter when we would come back late from a dinner. That was incredibly nice of her! The food service and servings were also incredible. I'm hoping to see the same in SL!

Well, the good reports I've seen are since the change, so maybe it will be wonderful for all of us! I sure hope so! I too had read bad reports (on All Ears) about SL when it was "light". So far the IPO staff has been great. Please post if you find out anymore information. BTW, when are you going? We are there Nov 29 - Dec 7.

Triplefigs: We will be there January, over Martin Luther King week. Personally, I like the feel of SL a little more than RPC. I too am excited about the full benefits now at the SL and am looking forward to our trip. I am looking forward to the evening cordials, it's nice to have a glass of wine before we go out for dinner and than come back for desert and a cordial. It's a good way to save money when you go out for dinner. So save room for desert!

I'll be there in just 17 days ( ), so I'll give a report when I get back. So far, IPO has been wonderful--got all my ADRs, and answered many questions. And only one email came back without what I would call "Disney Magic," but the next email apologized for the lack of magic and went over and ABOVE the call with the help they provided. The more I deal with them, the more excited I get! :cheer2:

And now that I know my sweet tooth will get dessert each night. . .ahhhh :cloud9: .

Edited to add...TripleFigs, I love looking at your siggy. Your pictures are always so neat!

Does anyone have the e-mail address for the SL Itenerary Planning Office? I haven't received an itenerary planning sheet yet, and we'll be there in about 60 days.

Got them all at the times I wanted even :) Woohoo. CRT for lunch at 1, Crystal Palace at 5:45 before MVMCP and a few others that I was not really worried about.

Very happy with SLC :cool1:

YUMMY! We are so excited about the desserts, and I'm looking forward to a glass of wine or beer!!!

We are there the 9th-14th. We will just miss you. I love the new Bama mickey. Very cute. Did you go there? I did from 87-92. Went to the Sugar Bowl for the Nat'l Championship that year in N.O. Those were fun times and now the are probably destroying the superdome :(

ROLL TIDE!
