Grand Floridian Salon Experiences?

Anyone care to offer feedback on the hair salon at the Grand Floridian? My wife is about 5 mos pregnant, and (by her own admission) would really like to do something different with her hair. We're about 24 hours away from leaving for WDW, so I thought it would be a great idea to send her over to the GF one afternoon for a new 'do' and a spa visit.

Good idea? Bad idea?

I'm already assuming that it's a bit overpriced, but we've already prepared ourselves for a week of that.

How about $74 for an inch off of perfectly straight hair! Oh...plus a wash/blow dry (straight)

The spa is very nice...pricey again....but very nice. Pedicures are great and your wife may enjoy that...it gets tough to 'see' those feet!!!

I had a shampoo, blowdry and flattening iron thingie done for $45 before tip over the holidays. Had it done earlier on the stay for $35 off-site. I actually don't think that's a bad mark-up for being able to get it done at the hotel. I never have that done at home so have no other basis of comparison?
