Grand Floridian Room requests

My son age 10 and I (his mom) are staying at the GF in 2 weeks--I requested Conch Key bldg with MK /Lagoon View--we have stayed at the GF before but only in the main building concierge--Please give me some imput--what would you suggest--I'm thinking what do you think is more important view or walking distance to monorail and pools---thanks!!!!

I think the view would be more important to me. However, if you want the best of both, request Sago Cay with a MK/LV. We stayed in this building on our honeymoon and had a great view of the castle and was very close to Gasparilla's, the main building, the quiet pool and the buses. But I hear that Conch's views are even better than Sago Cay's. No matter what you decide, have a great time!

BTW, the resort is NOT that big and the walks to all points from any of the buildings is very short.
