Grand Floridian room request for studio lake view

First time staying here. Will be our first trip no kids.
Not going to parks
looking for pool time and a few drinks .

I don't understand your question, where are you staying and what else beside lake view are you interested in?

All of the lake view rooms are pretty much the same view, high floor would be my only suggestion if you like a high floor.

I really don't think there are any requests you could ask for other than high floor (or low floor if you prefer that). Beyond the lake view, which is a guarantee, there really aren't any other options. The rooms ending in 14 will get you a partial Fireworks view so maybe that.

Just made our first DVC reservation online but I didn't see any special request section... how can I request a high floor?

You can also email them from the member website with your request. I just did that with two upcoming reservations that we have and they added our requests to our reservation. On the website, click on Contact Us, then on the email link at the top of the page.
