Hi everyone, I'm planning my first trip ever to disney in december. We want to go to the Grand floridian to see the decorations, gingerbread house, etc and want to grad something to eat there and pre order one of those chocolate slippers, since we need to eat at one of the restaurants there in order to get the slipper, which is the best restaurant?

We've enjoyed seafood at Narcoosee's and the Grand Floridian Burger at the Grand Floridian Cafe. The cafe is pretty but casual while Narcoosee's is more upscale. We haven't tried Citrico's of V&A yet.

It depends on what type of atmosphere and food you are looking for. They each offer different options. We really love Narcoossees. :thumbsup2 The food at Citrico's is great as well. Grand Floridan Cafe is more casual. We've never been to 1900 Park Fare or V&A.

I would recommend looking at the menus and seeing which you like best! :goodvibes

we liked 1900 park faire the Breakfast food was good loved the strawberry soup

We enjoyed 1900 Park Fare for breakfast this year. Great selection. Can't comment on dinner.

Citricos is a wonderful restaurant with superb service and food -- it is a little more upscale/formal than most restaurants at Disney. But we dined there with DS4 (he is used to formal dining). It's nice because it is in the main building that has the lobby.

Narcoosees is also nice but I'd say more more casual, on the water with lots of windows to look out. Food was pretty good, but I'd say that Citricos' food was more impressive. Service at Citricos and Narcoosees was wonderful

1900 Park Fare - been there for breakfast and was very nice... but are going for dinner the first time next trip.... mostly because Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters are hilarious. We had some funny interactions with them at Magic Kingdom.

Don't know about Grand Floridian Cafe but reviews are pretty good.

Hi!

I just got back from spending about a week at the GF (5-23 to 5-31) We ate at 1900 Park Fare for the character breakfast and it was by far the best breakfast we had the entire trip. We also did Victoria and Alberts just to say we had, but I don't recommend that if you're on a tight budget! Didn't try Narcoossee's or Citricos but have heard good things! Jealous you're going at Christmastime!

1900 Park Faire is a character buffet.

The Grand Floridian Cafe is a nice little sit down restaurant that we love.

Citrico's and Narcoossee's are both "signature dining" and a little more upscale.

Victoria & Alberts is a 5 diamond rated world-class, Food Network worthy restaurant where you would not dream of wasting food space on a chocolate slipper because anything they bring you would be so far superior it would be sad.

I would go with the Grand Floridian Cafe unless you want a character buffet. With the buffet you are already getting dessert in with the cost, whereas at the GFC you can order your slipper and have that as dessert since you have to pay extra for it regardless. It would seem a waste to me to pay for an extra dessert at a buffet.

Narcossees is excellent! One of our favorite signatures. If you time it right, you can dine while viewing the fireworks from the magic kingdom, a truly memorable and magical experience.

The only one I've never eaten at is V&A. All are good.

My all time favorite is Citrico's. A must do each trip. We did not do it in March did Narcooeess (1st. Time). Food was very good and I liked the atmosphere.

1900 Park Fare is a character buffet, very good but busy. The Step Sisters and Step Mother are awesome.

GF Cafe is a lovely restaurant with good food.
