Yeah, that couch is small for a one/two bedroom IMO. Sure there's also a chair, but the larger couch looked inviting in the drawings and at SSR. Skimped out on the built ins from the concept too. Overall I like the refresh but don't love it. The 1/2 bedrroms are a little more whimsical but the studios seem stuffier--weird dichotomy.Looks nice. I’m a little surprised that they didn’t put in the Murphy bed with the ottoman to make a chaise lounge like they did in SSR. It allows more people to sit at the couch. The artist renderings had it, but I guess they didn’t go with it for some reason.
Really...I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I'm sad about the removal of the TVs in the bathroom mirrors in the 1 bedrooms. My kids absolutely loved taking a bath and watching TV at the same time (such a vacation novelty!) And I personally loved turning on one of the Resort TV channels while I did my make-up in there.
Probably the same reason for a studio sized couch to be placed in a one-bedroom...Really...Disney saying " mo money, mo money , mo money!
Pretty sure that's a studio with the small couch. At least I'm really hoping that it is.Probably the same reason for a studio sized couch to be placed in a one-bedroom...
All rooms at VGF will be refreshed.Do you know if they are also refreshing the 3 bedroom grand villas?
Those were pics from someone who stayed in a 1 bedroom that was refurbished. You would see the queen bed right next to it if it was a studio. If you look at the bottom right of the pic you can see the wall where it decides for the kitchen.Pretty sure that's a studio with the small couch. At least I'm really hoping that it is.

very much so. Wow.
Agreed. It isn’t horrible but compared to the concept and SSR, a clear downgrade. I don’t get it, supply chain issues or cost? It looks too small for the space!Well that's a disappointing downgrade from the concept art. They could have switched out the concept rug and kept the chair and large murphy bed console. That was impressive. The installed one is, well, not impressive.
Just reinforces the notion that Disney is trying to deliver LESS to its customers. Chapek did say that they were going to look at creative budget cuts…Agreed.
