Just got back from 7 days at Poly. Loved being close to ceremonial house, TT, monorail. Stayed in Rouratonga longhouse. Just thinking about our next vacation and wondering if it's a lot of walking between main house and standard rooms at Grand Floridian. Is the property very spaced out. Also, loved that Captain Hooks was open 24 hours. Loved getting tea and snack after midnight. Is anything open 24 hrs at GF. Thank you

Not at all! The grounds are fairly compact and you'll be able to get from an outer building to the main building in 5 minutes or less. :)

I agree. GF is a small resort. Prob smaller than Poly. No place is a far walk. My fav locations were the buildings around the Courtyard Pool.

Gasparilla Island Grille is 24 hours and we did not feel like the buildings were super spread out at all.

GF is laid out fairly similarly to Poly. It isn't spread out

Agree with all of the above :thumbsup2

The GF is the best... Stayed there the last two years and will be going again for sure

I did not think the buildings were spaced far apart. It actually felt fairly compact to me.

I also liked having the monorail right there (except that there were a couple times where it was stopped for a few minutes.)
