I noticed that the ammenities on the website state the refrigerators and microwaves are available upon request. Has anyone ever requested a microwave? If so, did they charge extra? I also thought that all moderates and deluxes come with a refrigerator. Do I need need to request a fridge too?

We stayed at GF 2 years ago and did request a frig. They delivered it fairly quickly (I think we were still unpacking). No charge.

I know that refrigerators are included in all Moderate and Deluxe rooms. As for the microwaves we never had them, however if you need to use one they always have one located at their counter service location.

Since the rehab, all the GF rooms have fridges already inside them. The microwaves are very limited and you'd need to call housekeeping when you arrive. There shouldn't be any charge.

I requested a microwave a couple of trips ago at the GF. Not a problem, but like a PP said, there aren't many. Make sure you call as soon as you arrive in your room. Also, there wasn't a charge...

There is now a fridge in every room.

Thank you for the information. We have the meal plan but I thought that the micro might be nice for leftovers or breakfast.
