Any reviews out there? It seems to be pretty empty regarding. I am looking for a simple dinner with two little ones on the monorail loop so that I can take my ds6 over to the MK afterwards. Thoughts on that? THank you so much. I already have a reservation for Kona (it's a fave) but was thinking of trying something new even though the new Kona menu intrigues.

We are going here, too, in 33 days. Haven't been yet, but have heard it is pretty good. But looking forward to the Chocolate Fondue for desert. popcorn::

I went last March for breakfast, it was probably one of the worse meals I have had in a long time, service was not good, and food was just ok.. It was noisey and unkempt looking, something was not right that day so I cannot recommend this one for now.. I always use to but not anymore.

I was there in January for the first time with my family. We loved it and we had great food. The fondue was delicious!

Well, we've eaten there several times and everytime we really enjoyed the food and service. We especially like the fish of the day (very fresh and delicious) and the french onion soup. They also have several mini desserts that are all really good. We're planning on 2 dinners there in July...:)

I just ate there on my last visit (two weeks ago) and thought the food was very good. I got the Penne with shrimp and prosciutto and loved it. My BF got the chicken and also raved about it. Our friend got the Prime Rib and thought he said it was dry, he cleared his plate so it couldn't have been too bad.

Our server was not the best but others helped out when he was missing.

Overall, I thought it was a great meal and would go there again.

We go there for lunch almost every trip and love it. We had dinner there last January and it was also good.

It is table service and a la carte unlike 1900 Park Fare which is a buffet open for breakfast and dinner.

We also enjoy GFC for a quiet meal. We had dinner there in May & DH said his fish of the day was awesome, better than Coral Reef. We had a good server, I wasn't feeling well & she kept making sure I had hot water for my tea.

We ate there at the beginning of Oct. Our food was very good and they even accommodated my husband by giving him a meal size portion of an appetizer. I had the sirloin & lobster scampi. The lobster was not really scampi, but more like butter glazed. He has crab cakes with fries. And if you have a late dinner and are seated in the correct spot you can see the MK fireworks from your seat.

Ate there 11/06, lunch. Food very average. Reminded us of "Village Inn" chain. Service was slow. Not recommended--there are so many more interesting choices on the monorail.

The service and especially the food at the Grand Floridian Cafe has GREATLY diminished over the past few years. We use to love going there for lunch, and after our last trip in Oct. 07, we will NEVER go back there. They have changed the menu as well, and the choices are just few and fare between. There is much better food at other restaurants for the same or even less money.

Keep in mind that the Grand Floridian Cafe had been closed for a while while 1900 Park Fare was being rennovated. It was a much better place before it closed, then after it re-opened. So keep that in mind when people are replying because if you haven't been there lately...you do not really know how bad it has really gotten. It was also a very "quiet sterile" place for lunch, and we didn't really feel comfortable there with our 2 sons, ages 3 and 1.

Well, my latest experience was last month as well and I still love it.

I do agree it is rather quiet which we have always appreciated after a morning at the MK. But I think it is very far from sterile. It is a lovely restaurant with lots of windows and carries the Victorian theme quite well.
