I am thinking of trying the GF cafe. Can anyone tell me a bit about it?

We ate there for lunch on NYE and really enjoyed it. If you like french onion soup, theirs was delicious. If I recall, they are currently doing the character meals in GFC because the restaurant where that is normally done is being refurbed. So, I think you can only get the character buffet at GFC at this time. I may be wrong, but someone else will be able to verify for you. I loved the setting here. Lots of windows and a victorian decor. It was a nice start for our first meal on property.

I've had several breakfast, lunch, and dinner times at the GF cafe, and I recommend it.

My husband and had a very nice dinner there during our anniversary trip in February. I would also recommend the restaruant.

We've eaten there several times and always enjoyed the food and service. I've gotten the fresh fish special a few times and it's always great!!! The french onion soup is soooo good..:goodvibes

If you're going in September, they are having the Cinderella gala feast there while 1900 Park Faire is being rehabbed. It's probably all booked by now--I called two weeks ago, and managed to get in by taking a wierd time and two tables instead of one.

GFC is a must do for my family. Our servers have always been incredibly friendly...and chatted like they were our friends. The desserts are awsome too! I also find the GFC to be relaxing.

Another vote :thumbsup2 We had dinner there in February and really enjoyed our meal. I had some sort of pasta with shrimp and it was very good. DH had a burger and DMIL had prime rib and both enjoyed it. We will be going back in October.

I had a wonderful cobb salad there -- but we had TERRIBLE service! Our waiter had the personality of wood and was so super slow -- the restaurant wasn't even full! Very disappointing service-wise, but again -- my salad, after I finally received it, was rather good.
