I am going to disney world in March. I have reservations for Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner. 2 of my eaters are insanely picky, but because of their ages they are considered adults. One really wants the Grand Sandwich. However, that is only offered at lunch...

My questions
Is there anyway possible someone would be allowed to order off the lunch menu during the dinner time?

Or is it best for me to go at lunch?

Or is it best to choose another resturant for dinner.

We are doing cs for lunch and ts for dinner. I hope that helps.I need all the feedback i can get!:rotfl:

. . . usually not
. . . the food "lines" in the kitchen are re-set for dinner
. . . plus, why serve cheaper food at prime-time?

. . . yes

Or is it best to choose another restaurant for dinner.
. . . that could be an alternative

You may or may not be able to order from the lunch menu. If all of the ingredients and equipment for sandwiches have been put away, or there isn't the staff in the kitchen they won't be able to accommodate your request.

If someone in your family will eat only the Grand Sandwich you would be better off going for lunch and not take a chance that it won't be available at dinnertime. Maybe on that day you could do TS for lunch and CS for dinner.

Unless you are staying at the GF I would skip the GF Cafe. It's a very average place with fairly indifferent service and chefs. I had a terrible experience there with my meal and I have very basic allergies that were easily accomodated elsewhere. It's like any restaurant you could eat at in any hotel lobby. Nothing special.

I totally disagree with you there. The GF Cafe was one of the best meals of our trip last summer. The steak was fantastic.

We really enjoy GFC for lunch. DF loved the Grand Sandwich and I loved the Steak.

There are lots of great options for dinner!!

We really enjoyed Gf Cafe for dinner last April. Food and service were both excellent. Steaks were great, and the burger was the best we have had on property. DS14 and DD12 both asked to return on our trip this year!

I have stayed at the GF before but I'm not sure what you guys mean, the little thing with the outdoor tables? I know, Narcoosi's, Citroco's, V&A's, and 1900 Park Fare, what is the cafe?

Grand Floridian Cafe serves all three meals and is located in the back of the main lobby. It's a popular option for lunch, when people want to escape the heat of the parks for a bit.

I completely agree with both of you. Best meal of our trip and my strip was fantastic. But maybe we're all just a bunch of dumb hillbillies.;)

We love the GF Cafe!!! We have eaten there several times and I have daughter who is 13 but doesn't like there food and they always let her have off the kids menu but gave her a bigger selection of the food!
