I just called (early afternoon on Thursday, May 24th) to see if I could get a lunch reservation for anywhere on the day we *might* go to Magic Kingdom. Our touring plan is so loose Ihave no idea where we're going to be.
The Grand Floridian Cafe, which is an easy monorail trip or boat ride away from Magic Kingdom has a TON of lunch openings. I called and the Cast Member started with 11:50 and went on from there in 10 minute increments. I had to stop her and tell her I wanted something around bit later. 1:30 was available.
So, if you are looking for a chance to get away from Magic Kingdom on Memorial Day, check out the Grand Floridian Cafe. As TANKS, this will be a nice way to get out of Magic Kingdom and the crumb crunchers for an adult lunch in a quiet setting.
