Looking for opinions!

We are considering extending our feb trip by 2 days on the front end. We will be at GF Feb21-26. Considering a CS Grand Destino tower deluxe suite club level.

My Questions:

1. Has anyone stayed in this room level and can let me know about the comfort of the queen sleeper sofa? My parents will likely take the king and DH and I the sofa.

2. post reopening Chronos Club: what is it like offering wise? Is it "worth" it?

We have never stayed club before so this will be a first. This room seems like the most bang for our buck out of what is available for the two days we are looking to add.

I've stayed in the Deluxe rooms but never tried out the sleeper
We stayed CL over Christmas and found the offerings for breakfast and dinner as good as pre-covid stays.
I missed Minnie Waffles but otherwise, found it similar
Lunch is different, as it is in all CL property wide. They've reduced it to more snacky stuff prepackages

I'm a big GDT/GDT CL fan and I love the Deluxe Suites - they have a nice style and a cozy, livable feel. Unfortunately I can't comment on your two questions as I haven't tried the sleeper sofa and haven't been since CL reopened. Although from what I see posted on the CL thread things are relatively similar to what I recall pre-Covid, with maybe a few differences. The lounge is such a beautiful space, really love it there.

My experience on sleeper sofas in other WDW suites (Poly and CR to be specific) is that they are passable but not particularly comfortable. Not the best night sleep, that's for sure. But not sure if that experience translates to GDT.

Every family is different of course, and some closer than others... you at least have the half-bath so you won't have to walk through the bedroom to say, go to the bathroom in the middle of the night... but you will to shower. The shower is glass and doesn't really provide privacy if others need to be in the bathroom at the same time - if that's any concern.

We were supposed to stay in this room, but ended up being displaced by the NBA teams. It's still on our bucket list, so if you do go, please come back with a review!

Thank you! That is all very helpful information. The extra half bath sounds super helpful for us and will help with the shower situation. It will only be two nights, and not park nights, so as long as its not a horrendous sleeper sofa, I'm sure we will be fine- especially knowing the famous GF beds are in the near future 😆

We stayed at the Yacht in July and were "upgraded" to CL, just to find out CL was closed. This was my first time even thinking about it though, and now we have been flirting with the idea. GDT club looks gorgeous though, maybe not a bad place to start!

Will do, hope you got some good Pixie dust for the displacement!

Hope those offerings weren't just extra special for Christmas- I saw someone post pictures of the Christmas offerings (maybe you?! lol) and I thought they looked good!

We did! They put us in a preferred 1BR at Riveria - it was beautiful! Our new favorite place to stay :)
That's awesome Pixie Dust! Riveria is a bucket-list stay for us! We are on a mission to stay at all of the resorts! We have done Coronado before, but there was nothing "new" from what is available for our two extra days. Never the tower though, it seems like a very different vibe/feel from the Coronado we have experienced.

I'm sure they were not. I've stayed other CL, post covid and their offerings for Breakfast and Dinner were comparable to pre-covid

Highly recommend Riviera! We've been back twice since our pixie dust. We also love Gran Destino Tower -- it feels very Deluxe to me. Hope you enjoy!!

Will be in a Tower Deluxe Suite next week. I'll be posting pics of the room, Club offerings, Toledo's etc etc on the Club Level threads......I can definitely check out the sofa bed. :-)
Awesome! Thank you! I cant wait to see/hear about your experience!

Hi! Can you let us know if your room is on the 15th floor? I wasn't sure whether to put in a room request for a higher floor (hoping the lounge is within baby monitor range). My TA said the TA gossip is that they're currently limiting CL guests to the 15th floor. That would be a nice relief as we're booked in a Deluxe Suite as well and I know they're clustered around the lounge.

Just got my room assignment, which is nice cause it’s early and I’m still on a plane. Ha! Okay, I’m on floor 9.
