Thank you! Good to know - I’ll go ahead and have my TA put in a room request. I hope you have a great trip and looking forward to hearing about itJust got my room assignment, which is nice cause it’s early and I’m still on a plane. Ha! Okay, I’m on floor 9.
So, because some guests can’t control wine & beer being out for self serve, if you want a drink in GDT CL, you have to ask for it. Why can’t people behave?
You can get drinks (beer & wine) from 11am on, but now you have to ask for it instead of it being out and available.
That's the norm at every club level and has been since our first stay several years agoYou can get drinks (beer & wine) from 11am on, but now you have to ask for it instead of it being out and available.
Hope you are having a blast! When you are home and have time I would love to see more pics!

If you don't mind me asking, what apps/ deserts did they have out? I am so excited! You may not be on floor 9. I learned in the lounge last night that all room numbers from floor 9 up start with the number 9 to pay homage to buildings 9a &9b that were demolished to build the tower. We loved staying there as it was where CSR did the “Business Class” rooms, which we called Club Level Lite. We are in room 91** and it is on the 11th floor. If you were in room 9435 you would be on the 14th floor.
Last night when we were here in the lounge, beer and wine were help yourself. Glass door refrigerator with beer (Lagunitas, Sam Adams Cold Snap, Coors Light), Coke products, Dasani water. Not a wine drinker but did notice 4 different reds and 4 different whites just sitting on the Buffett for free pour.
It's always help yourself at dinner with some things also out for desserts. You may not be on floor 9. Thanks, that's great to know!We really didn’t hit the apps as we didn’t check in till after 5:00 and had dinner reservations at Rix Sports Bar at 6:15. I’m not a big dessert person but my wife had some fresh fruit, flourless chocolate cake and these awesome roasted espresso beans covered in chocolate. Breakfast was great though. Coffee, assorted juices, bagels, toast, muffins, croissants, pepperoni and cheese, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, oatmeal, leche frittatas and frittatas.
