Grand Caymen is a long stop for us. We're doing an hour and a half horseback ride first thing but after that what would you suggest for a very young 41 year old mom, dd12, and ds9? Thanks,

We just booked the Stingray City Snorkel Tour. Everyone says it is really great. The guy and the cruise line says it fills up really fast. Actually, he was surprised I had waited so long.

38 more days !!! :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I have been to Grand Cayman, and suggest either of the following: The stingray tour is great. Sounds weird, but is great. If you don't like that idea, Smith Cove is a great spot to snorkel. the more adventurous of you can go out further, but my DD, who was too nervous, got to see plenty of fish by just putting on the mask in 2 feet of water!

we booked stingray city and snorkel trip through nativeway tours, 2 1/2 hours in total and a great price, have a wonderful holiday

You should definitely snorkel while in Grand Cayman. Cayman has some of the best snorkeling in the world and it would be an absolute shame to go there and not do any! It is gorgeous shallow water around most of the island and there are reef witin easy swimming/walking distance from shore. Your kids will love it. Definitely give it a try there! I learned to snorkel when I was about 5 or 6 yrs old in Grand Cayman (over 30 yrs ago) and now I've snorkeled all over the caribbean and Grand Cayman is still my snorkeling favorite!
