Cruising with a stop at Grand Cayman with our kids, 2 and 4 at time of sailing, and looking for excursion ideas. Considering stop at Tiki Beach or Native Cayman Tour. We just did a trip to Nassau with the Semi Submarine, so hoping to try something different. Thoughts from those who have been? Thanks!

Yes they would probably enjoy the turtle farm and a play on the beach. Some private tours will take you around to do these things with a bit of sightseeing thrown in for about $20pp (not sure about the child price though). You have to pay the entrance fees but it takes care of the transportation if you don't want to use the public bus with strollers etc..

I took my DDs to Tiki Beach when they were 5 and 2 and they loved it. The bus ride from the port is not long and the beach was clean.

We got a day pass at the Weston Hotel as we didnt want to make the day too hectic for our 2 year old DD and we had a great time. the beach is incredible at their hotel and the pool is great as well. The day pass included a first floor room that faced the pool area which worked out great for our DD to take a nap and for us to get a shower and clean clothes on before we headed back to the ship.

My DD who was 3 at the time loved the turtle farm. Holding the baby turtles was one of her favorite things!

Holy cow - that's a beautiful beach!! How did you get to the hotel? Did the day pass include a shuttle, or did you do a taxi?

Also, just found out my SIL booked as well and will be traveling with her 1 year old DS, so easy for little ones is a must!

We had a great taxi driver that took us and then we scheduled for him to pick us back up at the end of they day.

We did the Westin too. We got on one of the crazy crowded buses that was waiting at the pier, which dropped us off at the front door (after we explained that we actually had a reservation and weren't just sneaking onto their beach!). It wasn't much less than a cab but there weren't any cabs there when we got off. Westin had plenty of cabs when it was time to head back. Our room faced the parking lot, not the pool, but we didn't care. It was nice to have the room with the kids and be able to grab showers and change into dry clothes. It also rained for 15 mins and it was nice to be able to be inside then. We ate in the outdoor restaurant, played on the beach, and swam in the pool. Very easy day.

Can those of you that have done the Westin, please tell me what the day pass cost? Thanks!
