We would like to go to the turtle farm, but not do the dolphin swim (we have done this in the past). Has anybody ever done this on their own? Any suggestions for transportation would be appreciated.

You could take a cab or public bus. Or if you want DCL to handle transport, just book their excursion that has only the turtle farm. It has a weird name like Boatswains Park or something like that.

We used Cap'n Marvin's to do a driving tour of the Island which included a 5 minute stop in hell and a stop at the turtle farm.

We are planning on doing this next month when we sail. We will either take a taxi or maybe try the public bus for a lot less. If you look on their website, you can order tickets in advance. FYI .. The more complete package that includes all the activities (pools, snorkeling, water slide) is 20% off online.

Thanks for all the tips! My daughter is a turtle freak and will be so excited to do this!
