Does anyone have any reviews of the Stingray excursions DCL offers? It seems that one is on a catamaran and one is one more a ferry boat. Is one better than the other?

We did the stingrays with rumpoint beach. We rode on the catamaran and loved it! It was a double and we were all laying out there taking in the scenery.

This one looks great but it isn't offered on the Star Wars cruises since we are in port for a really short amount of time.

We did the ferry boat... Loved it! It's such an amazing experience

Thanks! Was the boat open air at all?

I know you didn’t ask about non-disney stingray excursions but we went with Moby Dick tours. When the cruise line excursion got to the sandbar with 80+ people we were very happy to be on a boat of 25 -30 people. They also throw in snorkeling nearby for a price that is $15 less than the disney excursion. The staff was awesome and we would go with them again when the kids are old enough to enjoy the experience

Thanks. I will look them up. I usually prefer a non-disney excursion but we are only in port 10:30-5:30 and have to tender so that it makes things a little tight.

Would any of you recommend a particular excursion for young kids (4 1/2 and 8 at time of sailing).? May need to go private because of disneys excursion policy but worried about hours as we aren't in port for very long.

We did Sting Ray City and snorkeling at the coral garden with Seven Seas Charter. I can't say enough good things about Captain Shaun. We had 8 in our party and we were the only ones on the boat. I agree with cdoc29, in that you do not want to go with a giant group. I would be happy to share our experience with you if you message me.
