Grand Cayman Snorkel -- Soto's

Has anyone ever used Soto's Cruises in GC for a book-it-yourself excursion?

We did their three stop snorkel tour and it was fantastic not to mention much less expensive. The crew were outstanding, they made it a very good experience for our kids (DS8 and DD4 at the time). They took us to an area called the Coral Garden, then the Barrier Reef and finally Stingray City. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them if you are considering going on your own. It was a simple 5 minute island bus ride ($8 for a family of 4) to the hotel were their dive shop/snorkel pickup location. Goofydadeo -- You mentioned that you used Bob Soto's. From what I understand, Bob Soto's is a different company than Soto's Cruises. I went to the website you gave me for Bob Soto's and it appears as though that company only does dive trips. However, "Soto's Cruises" does do a snorkel excursion just like you described (Coral Gardens, Barrier Reef and Stingray City). Soto's Cruises website is www.sotoscruises.com. I took a look at your link and although it is similar it is not the same operation. From the description is was very similar. Take a look at the 3 stop tour from my link (which is the same link we used back in May 2002). It was recommended to us by a friend who lived next door to Bob Soto on Grand Cayman. I am sure you'll have a great time on either trip! When are you sailing? Is this your first DCL voyage?
