Grand Cayman Help - Turtles + Snorkeling?

Does anyone have suggestions for private or semi-private excursions through outside vendors for Grand Cayman that involve both the turtle farm and snorkeling? We're hoping we can do both and have a party of 7.

I'm assuming you are looking for ocean snorkeling .....Just thought I would mention that when we did the turtle farm they allowed us to snorkel with the turtles.

Yes, we are looking for ocean snorkeling in addition to the turtle farm. What were your thoughts on the turtle farm? Was it amazing? Or would snorkeling be a better choice?

We throughly enjoyed ourselves. But I will admit we are easily entertained.
We had three 11year odds
and two 13 year olds plus 4 adults.
There was an information session then hands on with turtles. Then hang out on a little beach and snorkel with turtles.

Thanks for sharing the pics. That looks like a lot of fun! Do you have any pics of the little beach? Are the turtles that you snorkel with swimming around freely off of the beach, or is that a separate enclosed area?

We just did the Boatswain's excursion to the turtle farm two weeks ago. I would recommend doing snorkeling at the beach to experience the beautiful waters of Cayman. We snorkeled at the turtle farm, and while my children enjoyed it, I did not feel like I truly experienced much of Cayman. Also the water in the snorkel area is very dirty. Lots of nasty stuff floating in the water (it did not seem properly cleaned or filtered; my one son got out because the water was so gross). There are several sea turtles freely swimming in the tank. You can attempt to interact with them, but they will most likely swim away. It is a very large pool, kind of like the shape of a long lazy river, and then a drop off area that is deeper. The beach area is some sand and beach chairs along the edge of the pool/lagoon.

I thought that the lunch buffet was adequate, about four or five items to pick from, with someone serving you from the buffet, and I did not feel like I should ask for seconds. Drinks are not included other than they have made some red koolaid and have tap water.

It was really awesome to hold the small sea turtles though. You can even step into the holding tank and stand there holding them.

I would call it a man made lagoon.
It starts out zero entry and at the end there is a ladder to get out.
I would say we enjoyed the experience, but once was enough.
