I haven't done it, but I looked into the Royal Palms Resort. Almost went with it, but decided not to. Biggest reason, I just didn't get why I would pay a couple of hundred dollars to lay around a pool (I'm not really a beach person) and pay expensive prices for food for a day when I have the ship at hand with a pool and food already paid for. Also, the pool at Royal Palms is adult only.Any one have any experience with the following resorts for "day passes" as excursions in Grand Cayman and Cozumel? Thanks!
Grand Cayman: Royal Palms Resort
Cozumel: Nachi Cocum Beach Club
I'm curious as to why you chose Nachi Cocum. I have been looking at beach clubs too, and I am also considering Paradise Beach and Mr Sanchos.
Cayman Turtle Farm isn't listed as an excursion any more, but we were thinking about going on our own. Was it a good experience for you?Cozumel: 12 meter Regatta - Hands down, this was one of the best, if not the best, shore excursions my DW and I have ever done on any of our 11 Disney cruises.
Grand Cayman: We did the turtle farm but I believe this is no longer available.

there's another excursion that includes the turtle farm. It's shorter, 2-2.5 hours and it includes a quick stop at a section of 7 mile beach, hell and then the rest of the time at the turtle farm. We chose this one bc our children were on the younger side, 2 and 6, and it was perfect for us.The excursion called Boatwains Marine Park is the Turtle Farm.
