Las Vegas Grand Canyon

How long would it take to drive from las Vegas to the Grand Canyon? According to Mapquest it would be over four hours.

we went to the South Rim from Vegas by pink jeep tour company and it took 4 to 4 1/2 hours! But it was WELL WORTH IT..

West rim 3 hrs...but this is not pinnacle Grand Canyon. You can walk out on the clear overhang, but reviews say West rim is disappointing.
South rim 4-5 hrs...but this is the Gr. Canyon we all see in pictures. Definitely the recommended rim.
We will be taking a bus tour from LV to S. Rim for $79pp including lunch.

We drove from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon last month and it took us about six hours but we stopped in Williams, Arizona for lunch.

Are you planning on staying overnight? We were there for one night but wished we had booked two.
