Has anyone ever booked a room through Expedia and received an upgrade at check-in?

We're going next weekend and it said we would be getting a Standard Room - Would love to know what to request at checkin.

Thanks

Yeah - I'd like to know about that too! Last May we "fluked" into a park view room. We plan on asking when we check in this next time if there happen to be any park view rooms available - esp. if they're not filled up! (How about that price from Expedia! WOW!!)

Standard view would be rooms overlooking the front of the hotel, which would have views of the parking areas, Disneyland Drive, Paradise Pier Hotel and Disneyland hotel. It also used to include the monorail courtyard, which is a medium sized courtyard with some trees, a few flowers and... the monorial. We had a room here and could see a bit into Downtown Disney. Alot of hotels also have a few rooms tucked behind roofs and such with practically no view and those are also considered standard view, though I don't know it the GC has any like that.
