I took the poor copy of the map we were given at check in and scanned it. I am still cleaning it up and will add the room numbers this weekend if I am able. At least this might give some an idea of what the layout is like and which areas offer views. If you have a specific room number question post here and I'll try to help before I get the rest finished up.

How was your stay?

Thanks Steve. I didn't realize every room had some sort of view. From all the complaints about noise from rooms facing DCA, I will settle for a Parking Lot View. I am so excited. I will be there tonight. :D :D :D

Steve, thanks for the new info, any idea what rm# or area to request on concierge level with a theme and or pool view- your map seemed to indicate an area of rooms set back a bit from the theme park overlooking the pool, still with a view of DCA, I thought that might be most ideal-any ideas or suggestions??

Thank you for sharing, Steve! Yeah, it does look like almost all of the rooms have some sort of view that would be perfect for my family if we ever decide to stay there. We haven't yet had the luxury of staying onsite, but we're thinking about doing it our next trip since DCA would be so close and everything. Hope everyone who said they were going has/had fun!

We are booked to stay at GC on concierge level with theme park view(no choice with level or view as hotel is all booked)I was a bit concerned about noise continuing on til the wee hours of the morning (my 2yr old would try to stay awake as not to "miss anything"- such a party animal)Does anyone know of a good location to ask for that would be relativly quiet with a nice view? Also wondered about early admission to DCA for hotel guests ,oh yes also heard there was a complimentary cont. breakfast but wondered when and what was available?? So many questions can anyone help- Thanks :)

As I understand it, all concierge rooms are on the 6th floor. DCA does leave all music playing throughout the night so I would suggest you leave your sliding glass window closed. The rooms in the teens (612 - 619) should give you a view of Paradise Pier inside DCA while rooms in the 40s (640-) will give you a view overlooking Grizzly Peak and Soarin' Over CA.

The woman I spoke to who stayed in concierge said that breakfast items included juice, bagels, muffins, danish pastries, fruit, coffee and tea.

Have a Grand time at the hotel. ;)

Tink,

During the preview DCA did not play music all through the night. We had a room overlooking the DCA/GA Entrance and while sitting outside with the sliding door open we could definately here the music and people, when we shut the door we could hear the sound slightly (wondering if it was still echoing in our minds), but not enough to keep us awake. TV noise will drown out the sounds from outside.
When we awoke the next morning, there was no music until about 1 hour prior to opening. This was during a preview a week prior to the grand opening.

Thanks Tink! I thought you might be able to answer my ???'s - I appreciate the help and do indeed plan on having a "grand" time :D
