I agree lol sucky view. But it is also kinda private looking and seems peaceful. I have only done theme park view on CL level so I am not sure what a normal garden view entails but I didn't see much garden in that pic lol

I have a fear of falling and not of heights. For me that roof looks like a neat way to get out of the room in an emergency, lol. They should add railings to the roof and set up a concierge level patio on the roofs where guests can watch fireworks with piped in music and dance the night away afterwards. Big band swing on the west wing and country western on the east wing.

Don't mean to rain on the parade but here was my garden concierge view in Feb. Just an FYI that the view may not be that great - it was a very green roof though. (to the left it was all roof).
Still - concierge level was wonderful and it was a cozy corner to be in, but honestly, it was the one of the worst views I've ever had at a Disney hotel.

The first time we had concierge garden view, I think we had the room to the right of you. Still views of the roof. My DH actually liked the room, thought we had more privacy We've had a theme park view but to be honest the best was our DTD view but we didn't have concierge that stay.

As far as alcohol, it is just beer and wine. It isn't out, but the attendants will come around and ask if you'd like anything. When we were there, one man requested several beers after the official wine reception was over and they happily accommodated his request. The lounge CMs were extremely nice and did all kinds of extras for people during our stay.

Oh, bummer, I was hoping they still had after dinner cordials (i.e. grand manier) to go with the delicious desserts!

No kidding! It was not exactly what I was expecting for my special concierge stay.

The quiet was the one nice thing - it was the very last room in the hall so it was a long walk to the lounge and elevators though. One night I came back to the room and there was someone in the hall talking on their cell phone. They looked very startled to see me there and left - made me really feel like I was in the boonies!

I like your ideas! And you would have felt very safe on this balcony!!!!!!!

I am waiting for DVC member services to open. Hoping for concierge 6/15 - 6/19 with our DPs. I hope I have not waited too long. PRAY!!!

so..the concierge rooms are all on the sixth floor? Is that right? When I booked the MS thought you just got a standard room on any floor, and just had a card that allowed access to the sixth floor. So..are all concierge rooms on the same level as the lounge?

Yes most Concierge rooms are on the 6th floor but I think you can also stay on the 5 floor as well. We stayed at GCH Concierge last year.

"Concierge rooms" can be anywhere in the hotel. We've had rooms on 3rd and 4th floor and still had concierge privileges. I've heard that the rooms on the 6th floor are different in some ways, but can't confirm that.

I sooooo agree! When we had the 3rd floor rooms down by Soaring it was such a hassle to carry trays of coffee and snacks back down, it seemed like it was a mile away, although sure made it easy to exit using the stairwell next to the rooms and the views were great (fireworks on one balcony and Grizzly Peak and monorail on the other) It wasn't so bad on the 4th floor because we were overlooking the pool and MUCH closer. They told us this year, when making reservations for Dec. that they could only put down our request for concierge and it would not be confirmed until check in, which was totally different from the other times where concierge was confirmed with the reservation. I guess things have changed.

We had a room on the sixth floor, theme park view...right across from the lounge. Makes it very convenient. Not sure I would have used it as much had it not been so close

I have been to DL SOOO many times growing up. One a few times as an adult. Never stayed the night there since family lives so close.

I noticed from your sig you have been down the GCH -CONCIERGE road before. So, what floor is the lounge on? I am going to request that floor. Outside of the lounge, what are the concierge perks? Are the rooms different from any other room?
