Hi,
Just curious if anyone has stayed at the Grand Californian Club Level and what you thought of it. I have friends who are considering a visit to DL and asked me about it, but I know nothing about it. I know that they offer breakfast, are other meals/beverages available as well? Where is it located in the hotel? Aside from the food, does Club Level provide any additional benefits?

Any Pictures would be great too! :thumbsup2

Thanks!

It (The Craftsman's Club) is located on the 6th floor near the lobby ("Great Hall" on the map below .... over the gift shop area) It's nice but also pretty pricey too. We enjoyed our last CL stay there around Christmas time last year but generally prefer to stay deluxe themepark view to CL. They don't have meals per se ... just "continental" breakfast, afternoon snacks and evening appetizers basically and the Lounge can get pretty congested in the morning. The following links should give you most of the info you are looking for.

NOTE TO MOD: this thread should probably be moved here to the Disneyland forums http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=26

Stayed at GC many times and love it. Will be back late August.

I was not impressed with club level, but to be fair, I never feel like I get the value out of any hotel club program. I prefer room service for breakfast and don't end up back at hotel for the rest of the offerings. I don't find concierges are able to do a lot for me (I'm a 40 year DLR vet). I also don't drink alcohol and feel like I am paying for everyone else!

Rooms are the same as non-club, just higher floors. I would pay for a view before CL.

They will have a fabulous time, no matter what. :)

Thanks for the replies and information. I'll be sure to pass it along!

I would say that for the money CL is not worth it at GC. Was just there earlier this month and thought it was a very limited offering and other than breakfast, you would still want a meal. I would also just book a "regular room" meaning not views etc. we found really no benefit from booking tov or courtyard. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE GC just don't think they really high rates for CL or a view is worth it.

I'm going to move this over to the Disneyland board, that's where you'll find discussion of the GC and other DL hotels. :)
