I've seen posts for Grand Californian at the $98 a point level and Aluani at $100 direct from Disney. Does anyone know if these prices are still available????

On Grand Californian, DVC doesn't even have points to sell. The resort has been "sold out" for nearly a year now and even with the occasional ROFR, they have a waiting list that is literally hundreds of names long looking for any points. Expect the price to be at least $120 per point, perhaps higher, with a long wait to have any chance of buying.

To the best of my knowledge, Aulani is around $100 per point for existing DVC members ($120 less $20 discount) adding 270 or more points.

For new buyers, the best available price on Aulani appears to be $102 ($120 less $18) when buying 320 or more.

From Disney? I have not seen prices like that for quite a while on GVC. GCV is currently $120 a point and Aulani depends on how many you buy but it cannot go below $102 as a new purchaser or $100 as an add-on (and you need to buy a lot to get that low). Go to dvcnews.com and check for latest prices.

Yes, the Disney price at VGC is currently $120. Yes, there's a really long wait list - I'm on it. There's been basically no movement on the list in months as Disney isn't ROFR any contracts there.

So I just signed a resale contract to buy more points than I really wanted at VGC, but it was my UY and the price was too good to pass up. Now I'm waiting to see if I can become the first "lucky" person in quite a while to actually have Disney buy this out from under me.

With VGC being such a small DVC resort, the chances of finding the PERFECT resale contract are a lot less than at the other resorts. So we pulled the trigger on a bigger contract with the right UY and a really low price/point. We live in AZ and go to DL frequently since it's about a 6 hour drive, so we really wanted to add on there.

We also just bought Aulani, first while on a cruise in May, then had the contract rewritten after the webcast because that deal was better. Taking into account the current owner incentive and the gift card, I think the price for 160 points was $99 (plus we were one of the last to qualify for the founder's tile). I don't think those prices are available any longer.
