Where on the 5th floor is it located ?
Can any guest staying at the hotel use it ? Can you see either the WOC or fireworks from it ? Any other info ?

There is a 6th floor viewing patio in the DVC wing of the hotel where hotel guests can view the WOC show. It is key card entry so bring your key with you. Turn right off the elevator and then take another right when you reach the hallway with rooms then a few doors down and it is on the left.

Oh and the spring on the door tends to slam if you let it go to quick, so shut it gingerly and the folks in the room next to it will thank you. :)

Here is a picture of the viewing patio that I took from our room that was just down the hall:

We were in 6502 which is just down the hall so the view will be similar to what we had from our room, just a little further down:

You may be referring to the Concierge patio. People have posted before that they can see the fireworks from there, but in my experience it wasn't a very good view. There is a building in the way. Now you can see the fireworks from the concierge lounge.

There is a patio. They used to do Pilates on it in the early morning. I believe it's open to guests but I'm not sure--I always looked at it but never went out there! I don't think you'd see WOC because I'm pretty sure it looks out towards the pool.

You can sort of see World of Color from there (you can see the fountains in Cinderpamela's photo). Certainly not an ideal view, except it is pretty to see the grid of lighted fountains from overhead. It's really fun to go up after hours and look out at DCA, though. I even saw them doing some kind of testing or light bulb changing or SOMETHING on the Golden Zephyr!

I know of one on the DVC side, 6th floor. It literally is just a viewing area. I wish it had a few chairs or benches but when we've been up there, it doesn't. You can see WOC from there though.

I don't think the OP is talking about the DVC viewing area on the 6th floor. There is an outdoor patio on the 5th floor of the actual hotel. I'll try to copy the map here

You can see the patio is above the pool terrace area. If you went through the lobby and out the doors toward Storytellers, you could turn around and look back toward the lobby and up and you'd see it. I just don't know what kind of view you would have from there!

I am pretty sure that is the concierge patio I mentioned above.

Is the concierge patio on the 5th floor? I've stayed concierge several times and the only viewing area I saw were the balconies off the lounge on the 6th floor. They face the courtyard, not the pool, but then there could well be a patio associated with concierge on the 5th floor that I was unaware of as a concierge amenity.

There is a patio that you can access and step down to near the concierge desk. Honestly I am not sure if it's for concierge guest only. My DH said he didn't remember it being just concierge. We only went out there once, realized you can't see much and went across into the lounge (too many people in there) and just watched from our own balcony over the world of Disney store.

You can see the whole patio looking slightly down from the windows on the 6th floor across from the lounge.

We have only stayed concierge at GCH once. We found it to not work well for us. We have stayed at GCH many times and have found their room service to work out better for us. Now the concierge at PPH is much cheaper and I feel we get our money's worth out of it.
