We will be traveling to DL for the first time in Nov and well I just got off the phone making our reservations. I had a wonderful cast member who convinced me that GC club would be the best choice for our trip.

How do DL club levels compare to WDW; I'm assuming pretty much the same. Also I should have asked but if we are only purchasing a one day one park ticket is it still simple to get from the GC hotel to DL park?

Thanks!!

We are flying in Monday mid morning and leaving Wednesday.

It's about a 5 hour flight so my current plan is chill at the hotel and downtown Disney Monday, Hotel and Disneyland park Tuesday, hang around the hotel till checkout Wednesday.

So you don't plan on going to California Adventure? I agree…. purchase a park hopper… you need to try and do both parks… it's worth it!

I usually stay concierge at GCH (or VGC), but considering this is your first visit to DL (and a short trip) is might be better to pay for more park days. Get 3 day parkhoppers, and skip the concierge lounge.

Right now the in-laws who we are going to introduce the little one to only want to do one park :(

I'm on the fence about whether we should do the 3 day park hopper and if we have the time and baby is feeling up to it do more park time or just stick to the original plan.....

We enjoyed the Club level at GC. Yes it is expensive, but sounds like you will be at the hotel a lot to enjoy it. They had delicious food available most of the day, we were never hungry. We didn't find the lounge to be that crowded either. I used their espresso machine to make a latte 2-3 times a day, they have cups and lids so you can just take it with you. The Croissants and sandwich meats and cheeses made a great breakfast sandwich, plus lots of fruits, and pastries, etc. The desserts at night are delicious.
Just make sure you don't check out before you are done in the lounge. We thought our room keys would give us access to the lounge the rest of the day, but no. Once you are checked out they don't work anymore.
Have fun!

Since you have a little one with you, I strongly recommend visiting DCA. It is so convenient being so close to your room at GCH and having the entry right there, it`s a short walk back for a nap. Bugs land has some fun rides for kids and then there is the Little Mermaid. If you should get a park hopper , it`s not that more costly than a single park ticket

It's just so easy to go into DCA from GCH (as long as it's not Early Entry hours). Another vote for park hopper here, it's actually easier to get into DCA from GCH than to get into DL. And enjoy club level! How exciting!!

Honestly, I didn't find the GCH club level to be as nice as the Yacht Club concierge at WDW. The evening offerings were scant. Our biggest issue was with the hours. The lounge did not open early enough to get breakfast before rope drop and it did not stay open late enough to enjoy a snack on our way back to the room in the evening. I did enjoy their scones, though.
