Grand 1 questions

DH & I are considering a DP.

MVMCP is the night of our VR and I am wondering if we can still do a fireworks cruise that night. Also when we call to make the reservations do we pay that day (at 180 days out)?

One more thing! Has anyone done this the night of their wedding/vr and gotten any good photos? If so, do you mind sharing?

DH proposed on the grand 1 during the MNSSHP fireworks - they were sooo much better than the normal wishes fireworks just because they were shot off from all around the park and not just behind the castle. I haven't seen MVMCP fireworks from the water but I would assume they are about the same. You can certainly take the grand 1 out on those nights.

When you make the reservation they take a credit card number to hold the reservation but you can't pay for it until you get there - or at least thats how it worked the fall of 2008.

You can certainly take a photographer with you if you want amazing photos. I think the quality of the photos depends on who is taking them...

Has anybody had desserts on the Grand 1 and ,say, hot drinks aboard the Grand 1? Kind of like a little dessert party!!
How far out can you book this cruise?
