Gran Gathering and PIN codes?

We are having a grand gathering (1st one) this Dec. Currently my family is under FD, and so is my DSis family.

However our parents will be there for just a couple of nights, so we are planning on giving them a room only plus tickets. (They only want to visit the parks just one day).

We all would be staying in different resorts due to budget/taste...

Now, DSis just got a PIN. We want to be able to use for our parents res. Since it's a GG could we? Or DSis would have to be on our parents reservation?

Yes she could use this for your parents reservation, she would need to make it but they could be the names on it. I have done this before

I dont think so you could ask but I remember booking my brother, using my discount but telling them the room is under his name. It wasnt a problem

So we called twice so far. And they would not budge. They said that my folks would have to stay in the same resort than my DSis is staying in order to apply the reservation under the pin :<

This has never been true in the past. Call and speak to another CM. If they tell you the same thing, ask for a supervisor.

On the phone for the last half hour. They see in the notes that we called before, therefore they stick to what it says there: "NO"

Asked for supervisor and now asked them to talk to guest services... UGH

At first, they insist on having to be on the same resort. Told them it shouldn't matter where we would stay.

Problem is that DSis is not using the PIN because FD is better for her. But our folks would only be there for two nights and go to the parks just one day - a 35% PIN is a lot better for them.

- Finally they budged... But as a ONE TIME courtesy. BS...
