Grammy's home now too !

So you know that it is a bittersweet feeling here - was great to see my DH - sleep in my own bed, BUT now I am not at WDW !!!!!

The experience was a once in a lifetime - even if I do another half someday- "first time" will always remain so special. What a great feeling to cross the finish line and crossing with Molli - well - that was just AWESOME!!!!

And, words will NEVER be able to describe the feelings, emotions and memories of meeting everyone!

Thank you EVERYONE for all the support - YOU were a part of my success!! Without WISH - this would have never been a chapter in my life!!

Off to work and face reality once again

Even Captain Jeff was impressed! Of course he doesn't know you, so he had no idea how well you were doing with training. Your commitment and dedication amazes me!

i just looked at your countdown mom; i couldn't remember what I put on them after we left -- how true for you. You inspire many and rightfully so

looking back at all you have been through in 2004 during your training, feet problems, hamstring injury, knee injury and what comes naturally as we all age so many use as an excuse you turn into POWER

i know i pushed you but i hope and truly feel I didn't push you beyond your limits -- i know you silently endured a lower back spasm of some kind for several of those longer quiet miles between EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, I know you had trouble seeing a few times blurred by your emotions leaking from your eyes, i know we both overcame the frustrations of the crowded course and found ways to keep our attitude 'lighter, softer, freer'

Thank you to you both for allowing me to tag along with you this weekend. You both did an awesome job and I know how exciting that was to cross the finish line with each other. I'm glad I got to walk with you both for the first 5 1/2 miles before I had to take my potty break. You got me through the tough part of the race. After that it was downhill and got much easier. I'm so glad I got to meet you both!!!

I sent the film from Sat night at Trails End out to be developed today. Hopefully I'll have the online pictures back soon. Maybe I'll be able to figure out how to post them, but no promises of that happening really soon. It always takes me so long to do that.
