I'm trying to do my stupid grammar homework, but I can't figure out if I should or should not put a comma in this sentence.
(The chapter is on complex sentences, btw)
We are to combine the two sentences to make a complex sentence, using a relative pronoun.
Steroids can enhance your ability in sports. They are dangerous to your body and mind.
_______
'That' is my relative pronoun. So here's my question, do I put a comma between the sentences when I combine them? Which one is right?
1. Steroids that can enhance your ability in sports are dangerous to your body and mind.
OR
2. Steroids that can enhance your ability in sports, are dangerous to your body and mind.
I feel like an idiot, btw.
