LOL im loving the ADR le celler comment perfect!

Aww poor JIM leaving his babies.... would he like me to send mine to keep him company I could use a lil break lol

He'd probably love to have little guys to play baseball with!

great update, loved the photos inside the pearl place i have to check that out next time.

I'll be traveling to Texas this Summer - I hope I'm done with my TR by then! Maybe you can be my "cyber assistant" :rotfl2:

Of course she'll choose Parker - he's too cute to miss!:lovestruc
not a problem, i will MC your thread, if you are done with this TR, then you have to start planning a PreTR so i can talk on there.:)

Great update Tammie! I've never been in the back of China or Japan either. But doing the KimPossible Experience this last trip forced us to go back there - opened my eyes to a whole new world! Who knew?

Kara - word of advice about the candy lady: I hear she'll only pick you to get the free candy if you're NOT obnoxious! So restrain yourself.;)

Oh, and I LOVE the perfume Laila! It wears really well; I get compliments all the time. Plus it doesn't hurt that it reminds me of Epcot every time I put it on!

Snow White doing her Brea Van de Kamp imitation:

Love this!!!! :rotfl2:

We came into China and decided to check out the buildings instead of race by - I am still not interested in the Reflections movie

Honestly, if it's not crowded it's a nice movie - 360 and you actually might learn a little sumpin sumpin. ;)

Legend has it that these guys turned to stone while waiting without ADRs at LeCellier

March09BBallZooWDW140-1.jpg

No you did NOT say that!!!! :rotfl2:

We headed over to Norway, where I really wanted to check out the Laila perfume - I know a lady named Laila from Norway:goodvibes I didn't care for it.

I love the Laila!!! When I wear it I'm reminded of Eric Clapton, er,uh, I mean Epcot! ;)

Hey thanks! I knew I could count on you:thumbsup2 We don't have a plan for "next time" but I'm sure we'll figure it out.

Thanks- funny what's on the backstreets when you look.

I know alot of people love Laila. I just have to be different, I guess.

Whaa-ha-ha-ha-ha she says rubbing her hands together.

I enjoyed your update. Sorry to hear that your kids are moving away.:sad1:

Thanks! I guess when they are independent adults, we've done our job. It was a big job with these two, so I'm pretty proud of them.

Right back at ya!:rotfl2:

And I like that movie in China- it's very grand!! As in awe-inspiring!

Awesome update!

We caught the end of Miyoki(?)'s candy presentation when we were there in February. It was neat but I couldn't understand her at ALL! :rotfl2:

Love the stone guys still waiting for their ADR at Le Cellier. We almost ended up like them, and we HAD an ADR!

The Laila perfume..I kindof like it at first but after too long it gives me a headache. It's so funny how many people buy it and then wear it all over WDW. I kept noticing the smell of it on so many ladies in line the whole rest of our trip! (psst...for those of you wondering you can get it on ebay, but it isn't any cheaper!:scared:)

great updates! i'm finally catching up with all my TRs little by little. i really want to stop and watch the candy lady next time. we usually just watch a few minutes but then keep walking. i bet it's really interesting!

What are they trying to cover up?:rolleyes1

Subbing:wave2:
We were in Epcot that same day!

Hi! Thanks for checking in! We probably saw each other somewhere!

great updates! i'm finally catching up with all my TRs little by little. i really want to stop and watch the candy lady next time. we usually just watch a few minutes but then keep walking. i bet it's really interesting!

Dawn! Welcome Back! She is really cute, but it is amazing how she just goes "snip, snip, snip" and has a creature!

I'm sorry I JUST SPENT ANOTHER HOUR ON AN ALMOST DONE UPDATE AND IT'S GONE!:headache: I'LL BE BACK TOMORROW - I'm too frustrated now. Dan, I'll have to take your advice and copy and paste. Good Night.

Okay, I tried to post in word, but I can't figure out the pic thing, so I'll have to take my chances. Back to our day at Epcot - we had just sailed with Donald and the gang, and came across this:

We stopped in France or is it Italy? so I could get my slushy, thanks to Drea! I chose Grand Marnier this time - loved it!:thumbsup2 Jim tasted it. twice. Then he said there's no way he could like drink that cost $8:goodvibes Yeah - I was going to tell him to get his own!

It was time for the British Invasion, so I wanted to head back to the UK. We weren't sure where to go, and then I saw a gathering down a side street, and with the small stage, I assumed we were in the right place. Righto!
March09BBallZooWDW150-1.jpg

They were alot of fun! There were alot of us "old people" around who knew the songs and were singing along. Not Jim. He doesn't sing. Ever. I would have known the evening songs they were announcing better - Sgt. Pepper's and Yellow Submarine, but we weren't coming back.
Another reason I would have liked to come back for the 7pm show - I thought I got a pic, but it's not here - anyway there was a "groupy" trying to get a date, I think. She was dressed in a mini skirt and "go-go" boots, dancing like crazy, bobbing her head and singing all the words. She was swinging her hips, all the while facing the stage from the side, and she was waving her hands saucily up and down her body. I would have loved to see if she was back for the 7pm show. Quite a spectacle, I say.
I really liked these:

We visited a butterfly habitat - we were thinking of our DIL who loves butterflies.

Tink's workshop - some kind of tinker crafts
March09BBallZooWDW156-1.jpg

At another little tent, Jim picked out a garden stone he liked, and I liked the Tinkerbell bird bath, but we ended up not buying either. We wanted to see how much money we spent on the kids first.
These trash can bangers were entertaining the crowd

We had just enough time before dinner to head to SE and find out what our future would be. Apparently we will be traveling the globe in high style and taking advantage of all the modern gadgets and technology available to us, while having back to nature getaways at our cabin in the mountains.

Dinner time next post:

It was time for us to head over toward Beach Club for our 5:30 ADRs at Cape May Buffet! We headed toward the international gateway. Jim thought we were walking, but when I saw the boat docked there, I ran screaming, "wait for us! Wait for us! and the captain, Mark said, "Why Hello Jim and Tammie, we've been waiting just for you!":lmao:
Just had to put that in KARA!

Really, we got there right at the beginning of the boarding, sat in the front seat and didn't wait long to take off. The captain WAS named Mark, and I was thinking what a cool job! Sail from resort to resort, tie up the boat, open the rope, say, "have a magical day" wave, invite people to sit down, hook up the rope, untie the boat, over and over again all day, day after day....:rolleyes1 Well, it still looks fun!

We checked in at Cape May Buffet 5 min early and were told we'd wait 20 min. That gave us a chance to freshen up and look around a little bit. It was really cute in the restaurant. Our server was a real sweety -
March09BBallZooWDW161-1.jpg

March09BBallZooWDW162-1.jpg

Apparently they let too many people in at one time, because you couldn't get near the buffet. They had 3 lines going. One for the salad bar, which you had to exit separately in order to get any other foods. One line was for seafood, and one type of veggie, which ended up at the bread. The third line was on the other side, which had other meats and potatoes and veggies, and ended up at the carving station. So if you wanted seafood AND turkey, you had to wait in two 20 min lines.:headache:

Other than that, the food was delicious, and the service was great! After the initial confusion, it seemed like everything was orderly in the line. I don't think that type of problem is the usual thing there.

I love the decor in here

We checked out the resort after dinner - I love this resort - I would love to stay in the villas sometime.

I think this was a little lounge, but I didn't catch the name
March09BBallZooWDW170-1.jpg

We decided to walk back so we could get a good view of the grounds, and to check out the BCV. The dock, looking across to Cammie's happy place, Boardwalk.

We made it back to Epcot and started staking out a place to watch Illuminations for the first time ever. I found the little green buildings behind the wine place at France. There was one table open, but Jim was sure it was against the rules to sit there without ordering anything. I was pretty sure we could sit there, or that I could order a glass of wine. While we debated, the table filled up. We walked down to just past America and stopped at a bench which had a hill next to it which would block the globe. Nice. :thumbsup2 Now Jim was looking for a place no one would want to sit at - why? That's because it's not a good place to see from!!;) We sat there for awhile - another family was there too, and they were tag-teaming their dinner - taking turns running for food and eating standing up. Kind of funny. I couldn't just sit there waiting for someone to stand in front of me, so I walked to Norway to use some snack credits for breakfast at the bakery. I got two rice creams, two school breads, and a diet coke for Jim. It was a looong walk back with that stuff, OOFDAH! (I AM Norweigan - there's proof)

While I was walking back there were several tables right along the water with no open restaurants attached to them - if Jim had come with me, we could have had one of them I made it back to him, and he said there was a great place farther over by the footbridge, then we would be out sooner. We found a great place by the chain. I think there was a handicapped spot there, but no one was there with a wheelchair, except one family who joined us - they were really friendly and we had a nicer time together. I tried to take a night pic of the ball and got this -

March09BBallZooWDW179-1.jpg

The man next to me was explaining how I needed a gorilla tripod and stand it on a trash can. DAWN! Where have I heard that advice before? Oh Well!

I enjoyed illuminations alot - Jim thought the globe was dumb. I thought it was amazing!

Oh, just a note about our credit card, I called the credit union right after lunch, and Jim's card wasn't activated - he never uses it. So we were NOW allowed to be on vacation!

We headed out to our car, good and tired as you should be after a first magical day at Disney! When we got back to the room, I opened the fridge to put the snacks away, and noticed the floor was a little damp. There was water standing in the bottom, and on top of our leftover flatbread. I turned the temp way down and decided to check on it tomorrow.

Next: Into the Wild

Thanks for all those BCV pics!! BWV is Cammie's happy place, but BCV is mine...especially since we just bought points there!:thumbsup2 Although after looking at the Kidani pics that are on the internet, I'm thinkin THAT may be my happy place, too!

And are you sure you're a Grandma?
March09BBallZooWDW146-1.jpg

You look more like a Grandkid in that photo!! Wow, that Arbonne stuff is AMAZING!!!:goodvibes

Oh Ellen, I love you now for sure!

Oh Tammie - thanks for the shout-out for my happy place!:cloud9: *sigh*

I laughed about your comment regarding all of the old people listening to the British Invasion. I made Lauren stop and listen for a little while the last time we were there; after a while, she turned and asked me if they were the "real" Beatles! The couple next to us got a good laugh at that!

I love the Cape May Cafe! We haven't done that meal in awhile but those endless clams - YUMMY!

Great pictures of F&G it is so pretty down there right now! I'm glad that you liked Cape May, we are eating there in June and have heard mixed reviews. We are staying at BCV and thought it would be appropriate to eat there!

My DH totally doesn't get illuminations, what's the deal with these guys?:confused3

We ate at Cape May because my DS said he really liked it a couple of years ago! I hope you like it - have some clams for me!

I know! The thing Jim likes best about parades and fireworks is that it makes the ride lines shorter!
