Graduation Mint recipe

My godson's mother has asked that I make mints for his graduation this May. She is requesting a buttercream mint, nothing flavored with mint. She had some at a reception last year, but no recipe. The kind I make are with cream chs, pwd sugar, mint extract and then molded. I've been looking on-line, but all recipes contain an actual mint flavoring. Can anyone help?

It sounds like she would like a buttercream "mint", just the molded cream cheese/powdered sugar mixture (no flavoring). You might need to cut back a bit on the powdered sugar, as the flavoring will add a bit of moisture. Sometimes, a little bit a cold water will help the "mint" become more moldable. You might need to experiment until you get the right consistency.
