I think $50 is enough. My son got $250 from his grandparents on one side and $100 from grandparents on the other side. Aunts and uncles gave $20-$50 each and then close family friends about the same.

I can't imagine the daughter would expect the same as her brother, when he and your son were best friends.

I would give the same amount to the sister as I gave to the brother.
