My day real quick before I fall over asleep.

s-bar
l-6 in sub sandwich w/ salt vinegar chips
s-oatmeal square
d-chicken, brocolli, potato
s-chocolate marshmellow egg

Workouts: I didn't to much today but I did get 50 minutes total in.
10 min jumping jacks/calf raises I really like this whole after every trip tot eh bathroom doing something active
10 min crunches-this is my fourth day and all i can say is OUCH!
30 min wog-more walk than job but there were jogging sprints because I was hungry and wanted lunch! We walked to and from the sub shop and had a picnic outside. We were going to run tonight but something we ate during the day did not settle the way it was supposed to. Ugggh!

I will be losing some weight tomorrow because I am getting my hair cut. I'll post a pic if I can. :)

Hi Beth,

You're continuing to do great!

Woohoo on the dress - I'm sure you were so proud of yourself for that!

The exercise is super - you're doing well with that.

Keep up the good work! :sunny:

loveinaz-you will fit in your shorts in no time!!

Jane E. I'm trying to get the exercise in all day-it really is helping make me feel better.

Kate-how have you been?

My day:
B-corn pops
s-bar
l-wrap
s-bara
d-chicken, avacado, small piece of cheddar, 6 olives, and 10 cherry tomatos
s-fruit

Workouts:
10 min crunches
10 min jumping jacks/calf raises
65 min walk

You are doing really good sticking with your April goals!

How much hair are you getting cut off? You should post a before and after photo. :teeth:

Keep it up with those workouts! :cheer2:

Hair wise I cut at least 6 inches off it's short now but not super short if that makes sense. DH took a pic but I haven't uploaded it yet I will soon. :)

My day yesterday:

b-cereal
s-bar
l-salad w/ chicken, romaine, spinach, mandarin oranges
s-none
d-1/3 order fried rice
s-none

I had a migraine so eating was a tough thing and I went with what sounded good because my stomach wasn't doing great either.

Exercise wise I got 10 minutes at work, and then 10 minutes of crunches. I almost didn't do the crunches but I couldn't give it up.

Today:
I stayed home with the migraine which has finally quit hurting so DH and I will be going for a walk later on tonight.

b-sleeping
s-still sleeping
l-1/3 of fried rice order
s-2 marshmellow hersheys chocolate egg
d-turkey bratwurst, chips, pico de gallo
The turkey brats are soooooooo good!! They have 9 grams of fat and 190 calories each which is so much better than the regular brats. We are definitely going to get them again in the future. I had a ton of pico that DH made which is sooooooooo good!!!
s-don't know yet

Workouts: I will do the 10 minutes of crunches and we are going for a walk in a little bit. I might run some but not sure if I am up for that tonight.

I'm glad to hear your migraine is gone! I've heard those are just awful.

I will have to keep my eyes out for the turkey brats! My dad got me hooked on these chicken sausages (they have spinach and other stuff in them) from Costco. Man are those good! They look just like brats and are yummy on the grill.

Great job with the crunches even though you didn't want to! :cool1:

It has been a weekend to say the least. I was not as active as I wanted to be so I will have to pick it up this week but that is doable. The time change is STILL bothering me.

Saturday:
b-cereal
s-cereal
l-quizons regular prime rib sandwich
s-none
d-baked potato and pico de gallo w/ some chips
I did 10 minutes of crunches and 20 minutes on the elliptical

Sunday:
b-none
s-none
l-cereal
s-wrap
d-egg burrito
s-none
I did 10 minutes of crunches, and 50 minutes of intense yard work which involved cutting bushes and trees back. I cannot feel my arms right now and can barely hold a glass of water. OUCH!

Hi there,

I too am sorry that I have not been around as much...things have been crazy! I think that time change really messes up everyone!!! I still can't get used to it either!!

Keep it up, you are doing a great job!

Luckily we don't have to change times here in AZ. But it really wreaks havoc since we do business with people in other states and it is hard to remember if they are 2 or 3 hours ahead, etc.

I hope you are able to get back into a routine this week! How are the arms doing? I was like that a couple days ago - I went to the restroom and had a hard time pulling my pants back up...

Wow! You're are SO recommitted!! I'm impressed!!

Time change is really killing me, too! I HATE IT!!!

Hope you have a good week!

Work is going to be crazy for the next three weeks so I am WAYYYYYYYYYY behind on journals. I promise I'm reading but haven't posted to anyone's lately. :(

Yesterday:
b-corn pops
s-bar
l-lean cuisine salsbury steak w/ mac and cheese
s-bar
d-laughing cow alfredo (super yummy and easy recipe) w/ turkey italian sausage and whole wheat pasta
s-marshmallow cream egg

workouts:
40 min walk at lunch, 20 min throughout day
45 min walk after work and 10 minutes of crunches. So far it has been 10 days and I am still doing crunches. I'm impressed I gave me 4 days before I gave that one up. :cool1:

That's great that you are still doing crunches! Have you noticed a difference?

You should post that Laughing Cow alfredo recipe - sounds interesting!

Certainly! Here it is:

1 cup fat free half and half
1 tbsp parmesan cheese
1/4 cup I can't believe it's not butter spray
8 laughing cow lite wedges (I used garlic herb and it was delish)

Mix all items in a saucepan and stir until melted. You can add cornstarch to thicken it. This is enough for 6 servings. Feel free to add in any ingredients that you want like brocolli, shrimp, italian sausage, chicken, etc.....

Super easy. :)

B-apple jacks
s-oatmeal bar
l-Lean cuisine pizza
s-balance bar
d-chicken shish kabobs (2) and brown rice and 2 skewers of pineapple
s-6 chips w/ a light coat of crab log and 1 marshmallow egg

workouts: 136 minutes
45 minute walk at lunch
20 minutes throughout
10 minutes crunches
61 minute walk

I am starting to notice a difference with how I am feeling with the workouts because I feel great. My stomach does feel tighter but not that much yet.

Thanks for the recipe - I'll have to try it!

Wow, you are doing great on your workouts! That was over 2 hours yesterday!! :cheer2:
