Graco vs. Kolcraft Strollers at WDW?

We own a Graco Lite Rider stroller (part of a travel system). It's about 2 years old and doesn't have the "one-hand fold" or cup holders the newer ones have, but it has nice big wheels, its seat is well padded and reclines, and it has plenty of storage space in its basket. I've been looking at a Kolcraft Lite Sport ($30 at Target). It does have the "one-hand fold," a cup holder for the baby, and is lighter than the Graco, but its wheels are smaller, it has no padding, and it doesn't recline. It seems to be halfway between an umbrella stroller and a regular stroller. While the Kolcraft might be easier for me to fold up and carry on transportation, I don't think it would be as comfortable for my almost 2yo for long periods of time, and the wheels might not do well on unpaved areas. OTOH, she's used to riding in an umbrella stroller most of the time, so maybe she'd prefer the Kolcraft. Decisions, decisions . . . :P Which do you think would be a better bet in WDW?

TIA!

Kolcraft does make a reclining umbrella w/canopy. The seat is padded, there is no basket, but you can use a snap on net. Target did carry the double stroller, the Rightstart baby store carried the singles. The stroller is really light weight. If you find one, take your baby for a test drive and compare.

I saw a couple of Kolcraft strollers on the sears website. They have a Lite and a Lite XT. The XT is $30.00 and has the extra padding, reclines, etc. it looks nice. I was considering it also, but it only holds up to 35 lbs, and I also have a 5 1/2 year old that might want to swap out with his baby sister, and I don't know if he will break it (he's about 42lbs). Check it out though, it looks pretty nice. It says it weighs about 10.5 lbs. not bad.

I am looking to pick up another stroller for June trip.

I saw it on the website, so I went to Sears to check it out. I was SHOCKED Sears had such a low price for a good stroller. I require a canopy and basket, but didn't expect to get a recliner with cup holders in the $30 range.

Renting a stroller at $7 a day for two weeks---heck no! I'd rather give this one away in Orlando Airport after my trip for that money!! LOL!

I just bought a Graco "breeze" lite rider for my trip. My girlfriend has it, went to WDW with it, and swears it was great. It was a bit bulky on the buses, but it has a one-hand-fold mechanism, totally reclines, has a parent and a baby tray, has a huge basket and seems to be very comfortable. Since I bought it, I've practiced opening it and closing it while carrying my 20 month old ds. (I bought it from www.buybuybaby.com and got it in 3 days.) The best is that it was only $50 plus shipping. They have a similar model at babies r us, but I liked the pattern on the stroller better from the website.

The real test will be when I go to wdw w/my friend and her son. Our hubbies are going golfing in SC while we go to FL, so I won't have DH's help carrying things.

Hope this helps.

My local Sears doesn't carry the Kolcraft Lite Sport XT--and we're leaving tomorrow (!)--so I've decided to take the Kolcraft Lite Sport from Target. Although it doesn't recline or have padding like my Graco or the XT, I think it'll be fine. My 23 mo prefers riding in an umbrella-type stroller now (actually fussed when we tried her out in her "old" Graco again), and we *will* be going back to the hotel at lunchtime each day for a 2+ hour break/nap. I'll take along a couple of lightweight receiving blankets for shade or padding just in case. For me, the Kolcraft's other pluses over the Graco for WDW are: the Lite Sport is only 10#(even my 9/7 yos can carry it; they can't carry the 17# Graco), and it was only $30, so I'm not going to worry about it being stolen as I would the Graco. Also, I know from others that my daughter will be OUT of the stroller a great deal, so I've borrowed a sling from a friend!

Thanks again for the input! 'Hope my decision-making process is of help to someone else in the future! I'll post again if I have a BAD experience at WDW with this stroller; otherwise, you can assume that it worked out great!
