Hi everyone,
I'm so excited we are going to WDW June 7th -14th, staying at AKL, and will be taking my 8 yr old dd and my new ds who will be 7 months at time of travel. My ds has a disability called Prader Willi Syndrom which makes him delayed in muscular development. He just now is getting head control and is grabbing objects and gaining muscle mass. Anyway, we have a graco stroller that I think weighs 28 lbs and he fits great in it. I would like to bring it to WDW but am afraid of getting it on the busses. I don't know if any other stroller would accomadate(sp?) him. I need a stroller that can recline all the way back and at different inclines as he cannot sit straight up. I also want one that has a moveable sunshade. Also a big basket would be good. Does any one know of a stroller that might be good for his needs and is lightweight?
Thanks,
Jennifer

Baby Trend makes a really nice, lightweight stroller with a 5 point harness. The problem is I can't recall how far back it reclines. I am a nanny and the little boy I used to take care of had one. It is nice because it has a higher weight limit than many strollers, but the stroller itself isn't heavy. Combi makes lightweight strollers but they are expensive. Good luck!

a 28 lb. stroller is pretty heavy, especially when you will be traveling with 2 little kids.

Sounds like you still need a nice full size stroller but you can definately find one less than 28 lbs. I believe my Peg P3 weighs 15 lbs. and it is a plush comfy stroller. But it does not recline completely flat (goes very far back but still on an incline). My kids are older so I'm not sure which strollers recline all the way as its not a feature we've been looking for. I would definately look at some of the Peg Perego models though.

Graco makes a metro lite model that weighs 11 lbs!!! I love it!!!!! I've used it for 4 WDW trips. DD will be 3 on 5/19 and this is the only stroller she's ever used. She's very tall and weighs 41 lbs and is still able to use it. It reclines all the way, in fact, it can be placed in ANY recline position as the adjustment is made with a string/pulley type system. It also has a movable sunshade, a big basket, a tray with cup holders and grownup cup holders. I really love this stroller!!!! The only problem that is really a minor inconvenience is that when the stroller is fully reclined you have to lift up the back of the seat to access the basket, not a big deal though. It retails for about $99 I think, but you may find a coupon or a sale. I've used this stoller a couple of times on the buses, and monorail. It's been easy to fold and carry when we've had to. I'm just hopping that DD doesn't outgrow it before our August trip!!!

I second the PP. I have the Graco Quattro Tour which I think is what you have. The Metrolite was our second choice and seemed just as wonderful in the store. We went for the heavier one because I tend to break things and thought it would hold up better for my clumsiness.
