Grab a cup of coffee, or whatever & pull up a seat...it's another Last to Post!

Well, we got DD all moved in & pretty well set up in her apartment. We were worried we wouldn't get her living room set into the apartment. Turned out that was easy as pie compared to getting it out of her house. DS is not talking about his break up at all. My nephew ( he's DS's best friend) helped us too so that was nice. The 3 of them teased & joked a lot. That was nice to see.

Any news on the job, Dana? Sorry about your Mom's car.

Good luck with the renter, Alison. Are you all ready for your trip?

Jo, that buffet sounds soo gross. Don't blame you for never going back. Sounds like management does a really bad job of watching over things.

Maybe not. There were some red flags on the credit report. We have to call the So Cal Apartment House Assn. tomorrow morning and ask about the line items. If they are true, we can't rent the apartment. :worried:

However, if they are true, we are better off holding out for a more suitable tenant.

That stinks it mat not work out, but it is the right thing to wait if they say bad things tomorrow.

Oh by the way, Queenie had a terrible flight to SF, crying baby no sleep, second half seat next to her was empty, lots of turbulence and a wind sheer for landing . Bad weather. But made it safe and sound. She was awake for about 35 hours.

Poor thing. Hopefully, she can get some rest before her adventures.

Glad she is all settled. Hopefully, your son opens up soon at least to his cousin.

I was shocked, I had never ever had something like that happen.

I hope he does, too. He's a typical guy. Doesn't like to talk about those things. I try to let him know we're here for him but not push it or pry. He'll probably tell me a little more when he's ready.

I bet she'll sleep well tonight. I have to lie on my stomach to fall asleep. I can never sleep on a plane, crying baby or not.

Skiing, sounds like you've been busy.

Lights are down and put away. The drawer is out in the shop with glue drying. DS outgrew about half of his shirts.

Some idiot backed into my mother's car while it was parked today... While we were standing twenty feet away from it.

How nice. Just what you want to deal with on a Sunday afternoon.

The snow is just melting near where you live, Matt! No wonder you go skiing so often. cool.

It's not just melting. It's gone from the valley, but a few pile sin shade persist longer. But in Spring it comes for a day and leave by the next a few times.

Last year the last bit of snow in my yard almost made it until June, because it kept snowing a lot and never warmed up.

Focus, there's no news on the job yet. It's the weekend, so I really wasn't expecting to hear anything until at least Monday. I have an interview at a retail location coming up on Thursday and then next Sunday is a mini job fair for one grocery chain (which would be fabulous, since they pay almost $13 an hour).

My mom's car seems to be fine. He backed into her front fender and tore the license plate off when he was trying to get out of the spot (our street has parallel parking on either side). We were literally just about to head inside when we heard him hit it, though. If we hadn't been out there, someone could have stolen the plate and she never would have known and would have gotten ticketed for driving without a front plate, or ticketed if someone put the plate on their car and done something stupid.

The Twilight Zone seems to be back again. But two hours earlier now.

You're still up!

I'm in bed, even though it's only 6.30 pm here. Hit the wall at around 2 pm today. But I've survived another full day.

Back to work tomorrow and Wednesday. I think I should survive those days too.

I woke up after 5 hours of sleep. I hope to fall back asleep, I need to go to the DMV today and renew my DL. How is your cough? Feel better?

I've resorted to Ventolin, an asthmatic puffer, to help with the cough. Since I got the puffer yesterday and been using it, I've been coughing less.

Since I've been coughing less, my body is feeling less sore and stressed.

What time is it there? I suspect it will be too early for DMV to open.

I am glad that little item is helping your cough. It is 1:40 am. So yeah to early. It opens at 8.

And thanks for the Queenie update. I did see it, just didn't respond.

She's probably sleeping off the 35 hours as we type.
