Congrats on the house Jo. I love the open space with the squirrels (reminds me of a story I forgot to add into my trip report). I need to rectify it when I write the next segment.
Sorry about the therapist. I liked the Titanic exhibit. I sure could use a nap.
Thanks. I need to reschedule, because my back is screaming to be unknotted. The exhibit was awesome. They were running a locals special, so we got to see the Bodies exhibit for free when we paid for Titanic. That was pretty cool too. It was an awesome date night. I could always use a nap. Maybe, when the kids are grown, because one of them always seems to be awake.
When I played half back or midfield I always hung back, because I was normally playing full back, I had a defensive state of mind. In college I played striker, because all of high school I wanted to be the one to take shots.
I have never played in the fullback, stopper or sweeper positions. I have played striker. I am right handed but kicked well with my left too, so I was often chosen for the center. Sometimes, I played left or right field and goalie, so I played seven of the eleven positions at one time or another. My heart was not into the striker position, because I overkicked the goal quite a bit when I played it. I also hated when we were playing a better team, and I could not help that much stuck up front.
The striker often gets the glory, but the centerhalf is where my heart was. I scored once in a while from centerhalf spot. It is the position I played most. Most of the goals I received were when I was playing forward (mostly left). My sister was an excellent striker, since she was faster and more accurate than I was. We often played on the same team. She was two years older, so that was not always the case.
